QR results are classified before they become actions. Plain text stays text, web addresses are displayed for review, and dangerous or unfamiliar protocols are never turned into automatic navigation. This is especially important for screenshots from messages or signs, where a successful visual decode says nothing about the destination's trustworthiness.

Can I scan a QR code from a screenshot?
Yes. Upload, drag, or paste the screenshot with the full code visible. A clean original usually scans more reliably than a compressed image copied through several apps.
Why was my file rejected even though the extension looks correct?
The contents may be empty, corrupt, too large, or a different format that was renamed. Re-export the original file from its source app and try again.
Does this work on phones?
