About this social media image resizer
Create multiple social image crops from one source while choosing cover, contain, or manual crop behavior. Safe-area overlays help keep important text and subjects away from regions that may be covered by interface controls.
Preset dimensions live in dated configuration with a source link rather than scattered component constants. Platforms change their guidance, so the page displays when the preset data was reviewed and does not claim the dimensions are permanent requirements.
Preset dimensions and evidence live in a dated data file, and the selected subset is copied into a manifest inside the ZIP. Cover uses the focal point to fill each canvas, contain preserves the complete source with a chosen background, and custom crop limits the source region first. Safe-area rectangles remain preview guides and are never burned into the exported pixels.
How it works
- 1Choose a compatible file or paste an image from the clipboard.
- 2Review the detected format and options, then start the local processing job.
- 3Check the result details and download the new file, extracted data, or generated package.
Example use cases
- Handle social media image size converter without creating an account or installing desktop software.
- Inspect or prepare PNG, JPG files before sharing them with another person or service.
- Keep private file contents out of a remote conversion queue.

Limitations
- Social platforms can crop or overlay images differently by device, placement, account feature, and later product update.
- Conservative safe areas are workflow guides unless the preset explicitly cites current platform guidance.
- A single crop and focal point may not compose every landscape, square, and vertical preset equally well.
Why use this tool
- The real tool appears before supporting content, so the task starts immediately.
- Heavy code is loaded only for this utility and work is moved off the main interface where practical.
- Results use the bytes actually produced or detected—never a predicted size or fake success state.
Frequently asked questions
Is my file uploaded to a server?
Resizing and packaging happen in this browser. The source artwork does not leave the device.
Are social image dimensions permanent requirements?
No. The page shows the configuration review date and source links, and every ZIP includes a dated preset manifest so time-sensitive work can be rechecked.
Will the safe-area outline appear in my download?
No. The dashed rectangle is an interface overlay for composition. Generated JPG and PNG files contain only the resized image and chosen background.
Why was my file rejected even though the extension looks correct?
The contents may be empty, corrupt, too large, or a different format that was renamed. Re-export the original file from its source app and try again.
Does this work on phones?
Yes in current Chrome, Safari, Edge, and Firefox where the required browser or WebAssembly feature is available. Large jobs may complete more reliably on a device with more memory.
